Role description:
As a Data Science Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our investment team, directly supporting key data-driven projects. Over the course of 4 to 6 months, you will assist in analyzing complex data sets, developing predictive models, and generating actionable insights that guide critical business decisions. Your work will contribute to enhancing the performance of our portfolio companies and supporting various stages of the investment process, from due diligence to value creation. Highlights:
- Be an integral part of our team for a 4 to 6 month internship, working on real-world data science challenges.
- Work closely with our investment team, and potentially portfolio management teams, to support data analysis initiatives for our portfolio companies.
- Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models to provide strategic insights for business growth.
- Conduct data-driven research and analysis, supporting due diligence and investment decisions.
- Help translate business problems into data science solutions, with a focus on driving value creation for portfolio companies.
Who we are looking for:
- You are currently pursuing or have completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- You have a strong passion for data science and are eager to apply your knowledge in a practical business setting.
- You have experience with data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- You possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
- You have a proactive, hands-on mentality and are capable of working independently within a fast-paced environment.
- You are available full-time for 6 consecutive months (flexible starting date).
