In 2022, Vortex partnered with Marcel Flipse, founder of MyBit, to support his vision of building a leading group in the Dutch custom software development market. This marked the beginning of what is now Dawn.Tech—a group with deep capabilities across technologies and end markets.
Dawn.Tech develops mission-critical software that plays an essential role in Dutch society, helping clients meet increasingly complex digital demands across sectors.
Since 2022, we have partnered with the Dawn.Tech team to support the group’s growth through a focused buy-and-build strategy. Together, we have completed and integrated eight acquisitions, expanded leadership capacity, and enhanced key capabilities across the organization.
The establishment of a scalable shared services center has enabled the group to remain focused on delivering high-quality, end-to-end software development for its clients. In 2025, the group rebranded to Dawn.Tech, marking the next phase in its evolution.
