A successful partnership

In February 2018, Vortex Capital Partners acquired and merged Tritel and Fieber to form hallo,—a managed service provider (MSP) specializing in IT and telecom solutions for SMEs.

In 2023, KLAR Partners, a London-based private equity firm, acquired a majority stake in hallo, with the ambition to scale the company into a leading European MSP.

Key achievements during our holding period

  • Successfully rebranded the group to ‘hallo,’, establishing one of the most recognizable MSP brands in the Dutch market
  • Strengthened the management team by appointing a new CEO, CFO, legal counsel, and other key leadership roles
  • Focused on building a strong employee culture, consistently achieving high employee satisfaction scores
  • Executed an ambitious buy-and-build strategy, acquiring 17 MSPs across the Netherlands
  • Developed and implemented a structured integration framework to realize synergies and build one unified platform

As part of the transaction with KLAR Partners, Vortex rolled over its majority ownership into a small minority position via a continuation vehicle.

"Together with Vortex, we saw an opportunity for the creation of a one-stop shop for mission-critical IT services within the SME segment. This proved to be an extremely successful strategy in the Netherlands, and with our scalable platform, we are looking forward to continuing this journey abroad."
