Amsterdam, May 28, 2026 – It was a pleasure to host the fifth edition of the Vortex CEO Day last week at Amsterdam Flavours (Westergas).
We brought together 25 CEOs and MDs from across our portfolio to share experiences and explore the opportunities and challenges of AI. Vincent Vollebregt shared his perspective on AI-driven opportunities and the disruption risks for software companies like ours. The GenAI Lead from a world-leading digital platform provided spoke about the impact of AI in tech teams.
During the second part of the day, we focused on use cases from within our portfolio. Robin Dunki Jacobs and Mark Wolffenbuttel (HCI) showcased new product features and demonstrated how AI is helping accelerate development. Mark Wiermans shared how Dawn.tech supports clients in solving AI challenges and how AI is being embedded in their development teams. We also discussed a framework for managing complex IT projects and shared key learnings from a recent exit process.
We concluded the day with drinks and dinner in the sun — a great way to wrap up the day.
