Vortex to co-invest in Dutch market leader in childcare software
Together with BB Capital Investments, Vortex Capital Partners has obtained a majority stake in Flexkids, Konnect, HHB and TecSoft, following the merger of these companies. The combination creates a leading position in the childcare management software-market in the Netherlands. BB Capital creates market leader in childcare software

BB Capital Investments has obtained a majority stake in Konnect, HHB and TecSoft via its portfolio company Flexkids. The combination of the four companies creates a leading position in the childcare management software-market in the Netherlands.
Together with co-investor Vortex Capital Partners, BB Capital Investments will focus on the further development of best-in-class ERP-software for the childcare sector. ‘Personnel- and child planning as well as parent communication will be offered under one (digital) roof’, according to Susan van Koeveringe, CEO of BB Capital Investments. ‘The purpose of our ERP-software is to better support the operational processes of child care organizations, addressing a need that is partly driven by increased regulatory pressure from the government.’
Market leader
The new organization serves more than 500 customers, representing ca. 75% of the total child care market in the Netherlands. Van Koeveringe: ‘This investment is fully in line with our focus on the fast growing IT-sector.’ Vortex Capital Partners will provide an additional network and technology expertise as co-investor.

The management of the new combination is formed by Michiel Cornelissen (Flexkids), Peter Baars (Konnect) and Marc Kuijer (Konnect).
